KSLC offers full time care for children under the age of two (no part time care available). Families are contracted based on their family's needs and teachers focus on individual milestones and development.
Parent provides milk or formula, diapers, wipes, diaper creams, transition foods, extra clothes and sleep sack.
Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks provided when child is eating table food.

Full Day Preschool is offered for children 2 years - 5 years old. Families can choose between our full time care or part time care (based on enrollment.)
Our teachers help children develop in all developmental domains with an emphasis on self help skills and social and emotional development.

Camp Safari - Summer Only
Camp Safari runs June-August and structured for children that have complete 4K and older. Our three school aged classrooms consist of mixed ages and our teachers plan activities that are STEAM based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) while focusing on children's social and emotional development.
Camp Safari attends weekly off-site field trips to enhance their learning experience. We also provide care before and after MGSD summer school!

Kids' Safari offers wrap around care for Taylor Prairie, Cottage Grove Elementary, and Granite Ridge. Transportation for before and/or after school care is through Nelson's Bus, and parents are eligible to sign up through the school district.

Gorilla 3K - Part Day Program
Looking for a part time program to allow your child an introduction to group care and explore social interactions? Python 3K runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 am - 11:00 am September-June, using the same calendar as MGSD.
Children in Python 3K focus on early literacy, math and science, social and emotional skills. Each day a light snack is provided and time for outdoor exploration.
